Iris has been passionate about film and photography for as long as she can remember. As a kid, she was always filming with her parents' camcorder (do people have those anymore??). It was just a hobby of hers until a friend asked if she would film her cousin's wedding in 2015. After watching a few "how-to" videos on YouTube and purchasing some basic equipment, Iris filmed her first wedding using a GoPro and iPhone. After totally falling in love with wedding videography, Iris decided to invest in her first DSLR camera. Through word of mouth, she filmed five weddings in 2016, then a whopping 15 weddings in 2017 - and the rest is history.
When Iris is not behind a camera, she is working as a full time occupational therapist and sewing custom baby/toddler clothing (Stitchedbyiris). When she has free time,, Iris enjoys skiing, pickle ball, watching Teen Mom, eating nachos and ice cream. Iris has 25 pound cat named Tuxedo. Iris has been actively recruiting her siblings to join the filmsbyiris crew and it seems to be working.
Kina is a Physical Therapist by trade with a hidden videography talent. She filmed her first wedding using an iPhone because her sister, Iris, was a bridesmaid in the wedding, but still wanted to make a wedding video for the bride & groom. Since then, Kina has become Iris' apprentice. She has spent countless hours behind the camera learning exactly how to get the perfect shot (Iris is a perfectionist) and has mastered the art of knowing exactly where to be and when! Kina enjoys hiking, skiing, and adventuring with her pup, Oslo. She is the co-parent of Iris' cat and loves taking naps just as much as the cat.

Evan is just your typical quirky IT guy who flies our drone - oh, and he happens to also be Iris' big Bro. You will likely never meet him at your event, but you may notice the drone flying above and you'll know he's not far. He takes his time getting the best overhead shots of your venue and surrounding scenery that makes all the difference in your video. He is detail oriented and excited to be on the filmsbyiris team! Evan enjoys scuba diving, spending time on his boat, and has an awesome salt water fish tank.
